Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 19, 2026
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, SDKs) have the same effect and are treated here as "cookies" for simplicity.
2. Why we use them
Yolki Pet uses cookies to:
- Make the site work correctly (authentication, preferences);
- Remember user choices (language, light/dark mode);
- Understand how the product is used, to improve it (analytics, consent-only);
- Ensure security (fraud and abuse prevention).
3. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Legal basis | Typical retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Login, session, security, theme/language preference | Legitimate interest / contract performance | Session up to 12 months |
| Analytical | Aggregated usage and performance measurement | Consent | Up to 14 months |
| Functional | Reminders between visits (partial form, list position) | Legitimate interest / consent | Up to 12 months |
We don't use behavioral advertising cookies or share data with ad networks.
4. Manage cookies
You can:
- Adjust your preferences in the preferences panel on the site;
- Block or delete cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge);
- Enable private/anonymous browsing mode.
Note: blocking essential cookies may prevent some features from working properly.
5. Consent
On your first visit, we display a banner to collect (or decline) consent for non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the preferences panel, with no need to provide a reason.
6. Sub-processors
Any analytics are performed by contracted providers with data protection clauses aligned to GDPR and LGPD. The updated list is available upon request at hello@yolki.pet.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy to reflect technical, legal, or product changes. The current version is always the one published on this page.
